Take a Point Break.

The printed #Developyoureye books are in, and shipping all over the world now! Our global art show, curated on Instagram, which asks participants to take photos of their surroundings in One Point Perspective lets you see that no matter where we are, skateboarding unites our perspective. The #Developyoureye books feature some of our favorite shots from the first 6 months of the campaign. Books can be orderedHERE  for a small shipping fee, or can be picked up at any GoldCoast sponsored event. Keep tagging your One Point Perspective photos with #developyoureye and you could find your work in the next issue!

For Recreational Use Only.

Being stuck at work in the summer is rough. Skateboard season is right outside, but the “man” needs his money, so you’re putting in hours. Fortunately GoldCoast has the solution. Our “Sick Days” contest will give one deserving person a new GoldCoast complete and $100 cash card so you can afford to take the day off and go skate. No worries, no responsibilities, just you and your board getting out there and having a Sick Day. If you feel like you are the best candidate for a Sick Day, click HERE to tell us why we should pick you.

GoldCoast and Volcom Get Crusty.

The 2013 Volcom VQS Surf Tour is under way and GoldCoast is proud to be the Official™ skateboard sponsor! Check the list of tour stops HERE and if you can make it out to one, you should. It’s a chance for you to show off your skills in a really fun environment. If you’re too old to enter, you can still grab some free food and watch the young bucks battle it out. They will be handing out copies of the #Developyoureye books and GoldCoast stickers, make sure you demand them!

As summer draws to a close, we look back and reflect on all the good times, memories, sessions and look forward to the cooler weather that’s around the corner. This month’s mix is a combination of feel-good Summer Jamzz and some more reflective, introspective tracks. Since Miley killed “twerking” with a laser guided warhead, we’ve had to ax about 20% of the songs that were slated to be on here. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the sooner we can all move past this horrible event, the better we’ll all be.
