MEET ROSBITT

This is our 16-year-old compadre Rosbitt Gonzalez II.

Rosbitt 2

He lives in our Product Developer Brock Harris’ neighborhood. They met a couple of years ago when he wandered into Brock’s skateboard filled garage.

(Probably trying to mooch some off of him)

Roz spends his free time skating downhill freestyle with his crew. Since they’re obsessed with all things skateboarding and longboarding, we always give them our new products to test. Aka, Rosbitt and Development.

We’re in the works of creating some video features of Rosbitt & Crew testing our 2015 freeride longboards for those interested in pushing limits, and giving general skateboard and longboard buying advice for those new to the sport.

Check out their YouTube channel in the mean time for some amateur videos shot and edited by Rosbitt (these kids can really shred).

THE GOAL! SERIES

GC14_GoalSeries_2

The GOAL! Series of longboards was inspired by the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup is touted as bringing the world together every 4 years, however, skateboards and skateboarding brings people together every single day. With that unifying power in mind, we created the GOAL! Series to represent the countries in which GoldCoast can be found around the world. The 40″, 7 ply maple, longboard decks have a micro veneer of rich walnut on the bottom to give the boards a super luxurious look. The “W” concave used on the decks give your foot a comfortable pocket, and better leverage for your turns. The Century 177mm Reverse Pivot Trucks, are carvy and responsive, for epic cruising. The Shred Boots 70mm Wheels are center set, and shaped for all all around riding, carving, and sliding. Great for beginners or Pelé level experts, the GOAL! Series is pushing global skateboarding forward! Which country are you going to represent?

CARNALES ROAD TRIP DAY 4

GoldCoast_Day4_1

The rest of the gear  showed up (thanks American Airlines for nothing) and it was now time to rock and roll.  Lighting was good, the crew was perfect, Albuquerque was insane.

More amazing ditches throughout the city. Go there to experience it yourself. No joke, you’ll love it. Miles and miles of ditches.

CARNALES ROAD TRIP DAY 3

GoldCoast_Day3_1

Weather cleared up… kinda. Still psycho windy and about 45°, but that was bearable.  Decided to go warm up and some skateparks then headed to the first ditch. Albuquerque is unreal. Everywhere you look there are amazing hills, ditches and skatespots. Untouched and no one to really bother you. I can’t describe how much fun it is to skate there.

And of course the girls looking beautiful no matter what they do.

CARNALES ROAD TRIP DAY 2

GoldCoast_Day2_1

We woke at the boarder of Arizona and New Mexico early Saturday morning.  Then headed to North New Mexico to meet up with the rest of the crew from Utah. The goal was to shoot in the Desert for a couple days but that idea got squashed due to weather.

Ended up hanging out there trying to see if we could make something work then decided to head south.

We ended up getting to Albuquerque a couple hours before sunset. When we got there it was the most insane dust storm, no joke we couldn’t see anything and if you tried to go outside your eyes and face would die from the sand hitting you. Just when we thought it wouldn’t get any worse it started to rain. At that point we had given up for the day but figured go drive around and check out some skate parks.  We ended up at the North Domingo Baca Skate Park, then out of no where the sun came out for sunset, and along with it was 2 epic rainbows. Such a magical session.

GC FRIDAY PLAYLIST VOL. I

Every friday, we’ll be sending you into the weekend with some good vibes. A little Spotify playlist of songs we couldn’t get out of our heads that week. Follow the link below and get yourselves all hyped for a few days off.

The Slap Stick is no laughing matter, as a good cruiser board is a must have for any quiver, and this board takes it’s job very seriously. Cut from the same concave as many of the top pro model decks, The Slap Stick has pop for days, and an all new, progressive, cruiser shape that makes getting around as fun as getting off the ground. We finished the deck with a micro-veneer of exotic zebrawood or rich walnut, for a look that is so classy that it should come with a monocle. Century 129mm trucks are ideal for slappy grinds, and the new 58mm Burn Outs Wheels are the perfect combo of cushy comfort and slide-ability. Try not to trip over yourself getting your hands on this one, and check out our newest videos introducing The Slap Stick below:

INTRODUCING THE SERPENTAGRAM

29-Oct_SerpBlk

There’s a snake in your boots! At 40″ long, this drop through shape is sure to slither you down hills leaving a venomous trail. With it’s Century 177mm Reverse Pivot Trucks, 70mm Shred Boot Wheels, and symmetrical engineering, there’s no chance of this snake eating its own tail.
